AA meetings in prisons 2015

Dorset has three prisons in the County and members of Alcoholics Anonymous provide support and sponsorship to prisoners attending AA meetings while incarcerated. Many prisoners find this a lifeline, while others begin to recognise the part alcohol has played in their problems and to attend meetings on their release.

If you are a heath professional who would like to know more, or an existing member of AA who would like to get involved in prison service in North Dorset, or Portland,(subject to security clearance) please contact us via this website for further information.
